Project Details: The Wooster Center Green & Alleys consisted of four (4) phases: Center Plaza at the northeast corner of E. Liberty and Market St., North alley, South alley, and courthouse sidewalks. This project was very unique and presented a number of logistical challenges that came with working in the center of a busy downtown. Simonson Construction Services, Inc. was involved in the following: 24,400 square feet of clay brick pavers on a concrete base with an asphalt leveling course, granite curbing along the street, wood plank stamped and colored concrete patios, multi-purpose steel shelter with wood ceiling and “W” symbol on the roof, steel entry archway, poured concrete seat walls with vinyl plank stamping, storm piping, site furnishings including benches, planters, bollards, landscaping and bicycle racks, cedar trellis’, artificial turf seating areas, new electrical along with overhead string lights for setting the mood.
