For two years Bill served in the Army as a light and heavy vehicle mechanic, then worked locally at Harpster Transfer, also for two years before being called again to active duty with his National Guard Unit. He then served in Desert Storm for a year as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. After returning home he continued his career as a mechanic, taking on diesel engine and heavy vehicle repair. He continued to further his skills by enrolling in “Mack” training courses that familiarized him with chassis electrical, air brake systems, and Mack engine diagnosis/repair.
Bill came to Simonson Construction Services in 1998 where he became our shop foreman and equipment manager. Bill performs major repairs, equipment purchases and sales. With his can-do attitude, Bill is an asset to our well-rounded team of service-oriented professionals.
